Suits You, Sir

Over the weekend I attempted to do something pretty unusual for me but very commonplace for many people: buy a suit. Unfortunately, when you're built like me it can be a real headache. Even a 28 inch waist is a little bit big on me, my legs are thin enough that the trousers tend to flap around like flags in a stiff breeze and the jackets hang off my shoulders like sacks on scarecrows. In other words, I look absolutely terrible in a cheap suit. The solution, of course, is to have one tailor made, which is incredibly expensive, or to buy one that's about right and have it altered. I suspect that the last option will be the one I end up going for, although I have no idea at the moment how much it's going to cost.
