And So It Begins...

The course materials for the first module of my Open University degree arrived this morning. I'm pleased to see that they provide StarOffice, although I'm already using OpenOffice (its Free/Open Source sibling), which I shall continue to use. Having had a cursory glance through the various books and leaflets in the parcel I don't think I have anything much to worry about just yet, although I want to be on my guard against complacency. I intend to work hard on this course and produce the very best work I can.
