Hooray for WINE!

I had a bit of a play around last night and discovered that the Open University's FirstClass email and conferencing software runs just fine under WINE on my Linux box. I simply installed it on a Windows machine, then copied the entire FirstClass directory over to the Linux one, then fired it up and, hey presto! it worked perfectly. A bit of a result, since I prefer to do as much of my work as possible under Linux. It's the first time I've used WINE for anything serious and I have to say that I'm impressed. I know that not everything works, but I don't really need anything else at the moment.
