Blogs reflect power of the pen. Interesting article by Bill Thompson on the impact of weblogging on ‘traditional’ journalism. I’m not entirely sure that the effect will really be all that great in the long term but I’m no expert. I certainly wouldn’t classify this particular weblog as journalism and it must be pretty obvious to anyone who’s read it that that’s not my aim. There’s been a lot of discussion about blogging turning conventional news reporting on its head somehow but, I have to confess, I’m not really interested enough to go into it all in any detail and form an opinion. At least, not right now.
