What Was Lost Is Now Found

Scott Adams relates how he recovered his voice after suffering from Spasmodic Dysphonia. Brilliant stuff. It demonstrates nicely that there’s always hope.

Yes, I’m Still Alive

Sorry it’s been a bit quiet around here. Nothing terrible has happened to me, I’ve just been getting on with life and trying to figure out how to stop the local kids from messing with my bike and how to afford the new rear tyre the aforementioned bike desperately needs. Perhaps I should consider which internal organs I can bear to be parted from.

One thing I did do the other day which I’m glad about was download the Flash 9 beta for Linux. It’s been a long time coming but it was well worth it. Sound is now in sync and things generally seem to work a lot better. I’m looking forward to being able to grab the full version soon.

A Bad Day

I had one of those days yesterday. Without going into too much detail I’ll just say that pretty much everything that could have gone wrong did so. This includes the hard drive on my home PC dying a horrible death. I went to bed last night and woke up this morning feeling pretty crappy but now, inexplicably, I feel much better. Almost chirpy, in fact. My moods are odd like that.
