TV Night
Ah, Tuesday night! Night of decent TV, for a change. Holby City, Life on Mars and Shameless, one after the other. What joy!
Hot Fuzz
Yesterday I went to see Hot Fuzz. Is it as good as the hype? Yes. Did I laugh? Yes. I think I prefer it to Shaun of the Dead, and that was pretty bloody good.
Joyful Art
I thought this was amazing. A guy has created some delightful works of art on his car by drawing in the dust. I wish I could do something like this, possibly in the filth that coats my bike. For some reason, I’m reminded of the sand sculptures I saw some years ago on the beach at St. Ives, Cornwall.
Feeling Ill
I spent all day yesterday feeling decidedly under the weather - thick and muzzy, and with a nasty headache. I was supposed to go out last night but I really wasn’t up to being sociable, so I stayed in and watched Crimson Tide on TV instead, which was exactly what I needed.
Snow
Can I just say that I hate the snow? It looks very pretty when it’s freshly fallen but it makes travelling a total nightmare. I hate the cold, too, being a delicate little flower.
The End of Another Week
It’s been one of those weeks, what with a break-in at the office where I work (not much taken, fortunately, just a couple of laptops) and other general crap. I finished it nicely last night, though, in the company of friends and with beer and pizza. A truly winning combination.
