I have a day off work today. My Dad is over from his home on the Isle of Man, so I’m going to Surrey to see him at his brother’s (therefore, my uncle’s, obviously) place. I’m looking forward to getting a decent long ride on the bike – it’s been a while. It’s also nice not to be at work, since the last few days there have been rather stressful. I’m not complaining – it’s in the nature of the work I do (and love) that there are roughish periods, but it’s good to leave it behind for a bit and do something pleasurable.
