I’ve been getting a lot of spam with completely empty message bodies lately, which my spam filter wasn’t picking up on. Irritatingly, I found that I couldn’t get it to recognise messages with no content so I’ve set it up to reject emails that don’t contain any vowels, which seems to be working nicely.

I have been experiencing the same problem since a couple of weeks: empty mails, no subject, always coming from a different fake mailing address. Your idea is brillant! But how does one configure a spam filter not to accept messages without vowels?
Kind regards.

Jan: That really depends on your system. Essentially, you want to set up a mail filter that sends all emails that don’t contain ‘a’, ‘e’, ‘i’, ‘o’ or ‘u’ (case insensitive) to your spam folder.
